If your answer is in affirmative, you will benefit greatly from attending this year's retreat led by the Quranic scholar, Dr. Yamina Bouguenaya.

​Retreat's theme is centered around understanding the concept of living in worship, and how it can be means of detachment and attachment to the material world. Our hope is that by the end of the retreat, you will be able to:

• See the signs of God in your soul and life,
• Identify various forms of worship,
• Discover the act of worship as key to peace , wisdom, and joy,
• Break the vicious cycle of (ghafla),
• Find your blocks to insight, gratitude & surrender.

​Basic Schedule
The retreat starts on Dec 23 Friday morning with check-in and ends on Dec 26 Monday at 2 pm. The schedule includes morning Quranic reflection/discussions, main lectures with Q&A, and guided meditations. Five daily prayers in the mosque, snacks and tea breaks, and rest/socialization times are also part of the daily schedule. 

Venue
The retreat will be at the Diyanet Center of America in 9704 Good Luck Rd, Lanham, MD 20706. The center is 40 min away from three airports: DCA, IAAC, BWI. The retreat center includes  mosque, meeting halls, guesthouse, restaurant and parking garage (and other amenities, such as gym which requires a separate entrance fee).

Registration Details
Registrations are complete only after payment.
Please note that registration fees are for covering organizational and housing costs.

Basic Registration (includes program and snacks):
Super Saver Price until Nov 4th:  $115 per adult (age 16 and above)
Early Bird Price - Nov 5th- Nov. 20th: $165  per adult (age 16 and above)
Regular Price - after Nov 20th: $190  per adult (age 16 and above)

Optional Dinner (3 dinners served at Diyanet Cafe):
Price:  $45 per person (age 12 and above)

Optional shared accommodation:
Share a room with family or same gender, up to 5 people in a suite (two rooms + bathroom). Total suite cost is given below. If you are rooming with others, you should arrange to have the cost split amongst each other.
Price: $420 per suite

Finding roommates for shared accommodation:
If you are looking for roommates, you can write down your name and preferred method of contact in this Excel spreadsheet. This will allow interested individuals to contact you. If you do not want to pay the entire room reservation cost upfront, we recommend you find roommates before you register. 

 Childcare: Please indicate in the registration form if you are interested in childcare. We do not arrange childcare but help you get in touch with local childcare resources. You will be informed about the details in a separate email.
